Tripod pedestal table in mahogany, mahogany veneer and amboina burr, the uprights are double columns in chased and gilded bronze in imitation of bamboo, joined by a concave protruding spacer resting on three small arched legs. Mould, clogs, rings and nets in chased and gilded bronze. Marble top Green Campan marble. Attributed to Henry DASSON. Louis XVI style. High. : 76.5 cm - Diameter : 37 cm. Our pedestal table is a revival of the model made at the end of the 18th century by the famous cabinetmaker Adam Weisweiler, based on the design of the merchant merchant Daguerre, now kept in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris.
