Boxwood cattail called "finesse" (missing). Croutelle, 16th century. Length : 83,5 cm On the back a label indicates "Cattail from the women's room of Anne de Polignac, Countess of La Rochefoucauld, Princess of Marcillac". These cattails, called "finesses" and made in Croutelle (Vienne), were very appreciated and exported abroad at that time. Very few of them remain.
