Set of board games from the late 19th and early 20th century including : a leather-covered card box containing two ebony and ivory (elephantidae spp) and two ebony and mother-of-pearl scorekeepers, the lock signed "à l'Avenir 25 Bd des Capucines"; a Steeple-Chase game in a large box with the name Gabriel; two boards forming a chessboard and a checkerboard; two checkerboards ; a board forming a checkerboard and backgammon, the edge imitating two bound books (wear); a lotto game; a backgammon game case with its chips bearing a label "SAR Princesse Sixte de Bourbon" (wear); a backgammon game case sheathed in leather with its chips from FORTNUM & MASON, a second identical one (without chips) as well as a set of various chips. A small wooden painter's set is attached (used condition, incomplete).
