Wall clock and its console in red tinted tortoiseshell veneer, inlaid with engraved brass fillets. The chased and gilded bronze dial with scroll decoration, applied with twelve white enamelled plates with black Roman numerals, is supported by five arches. Richly decorated with chased and gilded bronzes such as fire pots, acanthus leaves, framing rods, console falls, apron, scrolls and feet (restorations and modifications). Signed Ourry A Paris on the dial and on the plate of the movement. Louis XIV period. Height : 87 cm 87 cm - Width : 36 cm - Depth : 15 cm Note : Louis Ourry was a master clockmaker before 1684, date at which he practiced on Quai Pelletier.
