NIKE. - Lot 147
NIKE. Pair of Air Jordan IV "White Oreo" sneakers (2021) the left shoe signed by Spike Lee. T 45 EU - 11 US. Original box marked "Gotta be da shoes" and signed by Spike Lee. The purchase invoice from the Nike HOI (House Of Innovation) store on the Champs-Elysées in Paris is attached. The pair of sneakers Air Jordan IV became mythical after its appearance in the film "Do the Right Thing" by Spike Lee (1989). Director from Brooklyn and a big fan of the NBA, he is repeatedly asked by Nike to make advertising clips with Michael Jordan. From then on, the slogan "Gotta be da shoes" becomes cult and participates in spreading the sneaker culture all over the world. In 2021, while Spike Lee is president of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival, Nike publishes the model "White Oreo" but also the model "Do the Right Thing", in tribute to the film.
