Louise Hervieu is a multidisciplinary artist, who practices painting, drawing, illustration and writing. Charcoal is her favorite medium, which she works by scratching and scratching to contrast the dark black, the bright white and all their respective shades. She draws female nudes, still lifes, especially flowers, and landscapes. In drawing, she draws from her suffering and vulnerability, but also from her sensitivity and imagination, to retranscribe an emotion that is sometimes tragic, strange, dramatic, amorous, and always deeply lyrical.
