TURN in VIENNA. Two glazed earthenware pedestal bowls and ball vase, one decorated with white bells on a speckled green ground, the other with leaves arranged in white and gold scales. Marked. Art Nouveau period. Height 9 and 13 cm Note: in 1863 Ernst Wahliss set up a porcelain and earthenware factory in Turn Teplitz. He opened stores in Vienna and London. In 1894, he bought the Stellmacher factory. He died in 1900 and his two sons Hans and Erich took over the business.
