CADOT in Paris. Butterfield-type engraved brass pocket sundial. Rectangular in shape, it features three time divisions, a pivoting gnomon and a compass. The reverse side bears the names and latitudes of twenty-four cities in France and Europe (carrying case missing). Signed. First half of the 18th century.
