Jean-Claude SILBERMANN (Born 1935). "Dancing in the night ...". Sculpture in cut-out painted wood and cotton threads, signed, titled and dated (19)86 on the back. Height : 60 cm 60 cm - Width 14.5 cm Jean-Claude SILBERMANN, also known by the pseudonym "Enclos de six bananes" or Sam BERLINN, is a painter and writer who declared himself a poet in 1959. He participated in the Surrealist movement until 1969. In 1973, his work was exhibited at the Musée d'Art Moderne in Paris, where it was noted for its formal links with contemporary art. Teacher, writer, poet, lyricist, director of the film "Mais qui a salé la salade de céleri" (Who salted the celery salad?) presented at the Centre Pompidou on March 1, 2018, Jean-Claude SILBERMANN is an established contemporary artist whose work is protean.
