Bound in full contemporary fawn calf, the covers richly decorated with double gilt filleting, gilt ornaments at the spandrels on a black wax background, large central cold azure ornament on a black background, 4-nerved spine, decorated with cold filleting, flowered caissons, gilt roulette on the nerves, filleting and roulette on the edges, all edges gilt decorated with circles and rows of pearls on the corners and headpieces. Ex-libris Josy Mazodier. (important but discreet restorations to the spine ends, spine ends and corners, small wax damages, handwritten mention and erased inscription in ink on the title page having caused a small hole, circular stain and small hole on the last leaf).
