L'Office de la Semaine Sainte. Paris, Antoine Ruette, relieur ord. du roy, 1644. In-8, edition illustrated with an engraved frontispiece. Regulated copy. Bound in full red morocco in the late fanfare style by Antoine Ruette, executed for a work edited by him, with compartmentalized decoration decorated with small stippled irons, gilded dots and four central hearts, richly ornamented spine with 5 nerves, roulette on the edges and chasses. Ex-lbris Josy Mazodier and handwritten inscription "JB Marcel" at the bottom of the frontispiece. (Handwritten bibliographical inscription on the flyleaf and red stamp, rubbed jaws and corners, restorations to the jaws, headpieces and corners, slight detachment to the upper jaw at the level of the first nerve).
