In-8, third and most complete edition of this treatise in favor of polygamy according to the alleged will of God. Bound at the end of this copy are 7 leaves on the marriage of churchmen by Luther "Addenda quae, promissath. 83. n.3. ex Lutheri Tom I. Witeb. De Digamia Episcoporum" comprising 28 conclusions and 140 propositions, followed by two indexes. Bound in contemporary full speckled calf, with triple filleted boards bearing the coat of arms of Bernard de Rieux, known as le Président de Rieux, and a richly decorated 5-rib spine. Ex-libris Josy Mazodier, De la Morandière, A.-G. Du Plessis and handwritten ex-libris A. Breton (?) and ex-bibliotheca Chaullard (?).
