Oudenaarde, Flanders, late 17th century. Important and fine tapestry in silk and wool. In the foreground, plants and trees finely drawn, in front of a clearing bordered by a beautiful vegetation. Bordered by a Russian blue frame with old gold foliage (maintenance restorations). Height : 213 cm 213 cm - Width : 196 cm Border with the coat of arms of the alliance surmounted by a ducal crown. The two coats of arms are surrounded, at the top and on the left by a swan representing the maternal branch and on the right by a lion representing the paternal branch.
