Dimensions at the sight : Height : 37 cm. 37 cm - Width : 27,5 cm Important wooden frame and gilded composition of the House JEANBIN, N°2 Place Vendôme at the corner of the Saint-Honoré street in Paris. Camille ISBERT, painter of portraits and miniaturist, was the pupil of Henry Scheffer and François Meuret. She was a recognized artist of her time who exhibited very regularly, notably at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1879 to 1889. In 1888, she won a medal at the Barcelona World's Fair and in 1893, she exhibited at the Women's Pavilion at the Chicago World's Fair. She rests in the Père Lachaise cemetery. The importance of the dimensions and the fineness of the details of our miniature make it a remarkable work in the production of the artist.
